Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy at NATO, Rebecca Obstler, stated that NATO closely monitors events in the region, as they directly impact the stability and collective security of the Alliance. <\/p>\n\n
In a video address during this year\u2019s 2BS Forum, Obstler stated that NATO is focused on the detrimental threat to the region, which is foreign malign interference, including disinformation. <\/p>\n\n
\u201cManipulation of disinformation can have a direct impact on the security of the Alliance and our partners. We know this is a concern for Montenegro, as well as many other allies. Hostile information attacks, of course, are not new,\u201d emphasized Obstler. <\/p>\n\n
According to her, NATO is safer because Montenegro is one of the Allies. <\/p>\n\n
