NATO Youth Summit Challenge: Apply for an opportunity to attend and participate in the Youth Summit

The Atlantic Council of Montenegro (ACM) is organising, in partnership with NATO, the fifth edition of the NATO Youth Summit, which will take place on April 25-26 at the Splendid Hotel in Budva, Montenegro.

This significant event, held in Montenegro for the first time, will bring together young leaders, decision-makers, and experts in security, cyber, and AI technologies, as well as other key sectors. Through discussions, participants will develop responses to global security challenges and highlight the role of youth in creating a safer future.

In order to engage with young leaders, the ACM and NATO are launching the NATO Youth Summit Challenge—a competition for young people aged 18 to 35 from NATO member and partner countries to attend the Youth Summit.

Winners of the competition will have the opportunity to attend the Youth Summit with an all-expenses-paid spot. Additionally, the most compelling submissions will have an exclusive chance to be presented on stage to an international audience.

To take part in the competition, participants must answer the question: “What does the leader of the future look like?” Participants are expected to reflect on the values, skills, and qualities that will be essential for navigating an evolving global environment, as well as concrete actions needed to build a safer world.

Submissions can be in various formats—including video presentations, artistic expressions such as photography, graphic design, and poetry, or concrete policy proposals.

The Atlantic Council of Montenegro invites young people from all over the country and the region to seize this opportunity and become part of the global debate on security and leadership.
